There are lots of places to go dating for free just about anywhere in the world.  As long as you can be creative and use your imagination, the possibilities of finding a place for a free date are limitless. 
One of the easiest ways to have a free date is to set up a picnic at a park.  You could go to a city park and sit under the trees or even build a fort somewhere secluded to have your date.  Be creative and have fun, do something they would never expect or something that takes them back to their childhood.  If there is snow on the ground, forget the picnic and go to the park to build a snowman or a snow fort to have a snowball fight.  Lots of parks even have skating rinks during the winter that you can go to for a romantic date.
Some other places to go free dating include the natural landscape that surrounds you.  If you live near the mountains, go for a hike and pack some lunch to eat when you get to the top.  If you live near the ocean, go to the beach for the day and play catch with a frisbee and go swim in the water.  And if you don't live near the mountains or the ocean, go find a cornfield or somewhere with tall grass and play hide and seek.  Maybe you live near a river and you have some old tubes lying around, you could float down the river for a nice relaxing date.

Unfortunately you just can't trust everyone these days. Online dating websites have become a target for scam artists, so it's a good idea to be cautious while meeting people online.

As with everything you do, it is always good to be aware of what is happening and always keep in mind that if something is too good to be true (it often is) or if something feels like it could be a scam (it very well could be).

The most popular online dating scam is one that plays on the heart which is why it often works leaving individuals heartbroken and sometimes even broke.
The scam itself is actually quite simple. The person (either he or she) creates a profile, posting pictures that may not even be themselves, they make sure to play on your emotions and make you " for them, then they tell that they need money, either for travel to meet you, to pay bills or for some other reason.

Remember never to give them anything, not your account number, no checks, no wires, NOTHING. Once they get one piece of information they are privy to the rest and can put you into bankruptcy.

These people go for the heart and once they have you they go directly for the bank account. Now all that being said just remember that they majority of members are there for the same reason that you are and that's to find someone special. So while being a bit on the cautious side remember to still have a good time and enjoy!
