Am I a dating site junkie By David Brett
I designed a dating services site almost 3 years back and since then I seemed to have spent most of my time looking as dating sites to compare there features, trouble is, when I do join to find out what functionality they have, I find out that none of the features are free, and there's not much you can do on any of them. NOW! My dilemma was this, whilst working for a national company I spent time on the road as a senior service engineer and spent many nights away from home stuck in depressing hotel rooms, now the true is I am a very happily married man and finding something to occupy my time in the evening whilst stuck in a dreary hotel was pretty difficult to say the least, unless you liked drinking yourself into a Stupier, which I am happy to say I have grown out of years back. So what is a guy or a single female on there own to do on a lovely summers evening whilst away from home. Now by chance one evening I meet another guy at the bar who was also in a similar position to me, over a few beers we discussed this issue, Eureka I had a brain wave forget dating services, dating sites, lets design a new type of site, a site that everybody over the age of 18, could use. The idea came to me in a flash, I wish I could have said the same for the making of this new website, this was 3 years in the making before I finally got it completed. So what is this new idea I hear you ask? Well! It's a social community site consisting or three completely different categories.
1: DATING SERVICES for those wishing to find a partner romance or just have fun. 2: SOCIAL FRIENDS AREA, for those who just want to increase there circle of friends, they may be divorced, bereaved, moved to a new area, of just looking for new adventures with like minded people 3: SPORTS COMPANIONS, how many times I wish I had know someone in the hotels I frequented, I could have shared a game of golf with or an hour down the local Snooker Halls, well I am happy to say this dream of mine is complete, not only that FREE join and send messages to others I hope you like it as much as I have enjoyed turning my Eureka idea into a reality www.socialfriendsonline.com Enjoy David Brett WEBSITE OWNER and no I am not addicted to dating services LOL |
